Scout – what an awesome name, right?! Her mom said she had it picked out for years – now that’s when you know you’ve got the perfect name for your family. For those of you who are thinking – where have I heard that name?! It’s from “To Kill A Mockingbird” – Jean Louise ‘Scout’ Finch was the character’s name. If my memory serves me correctly I believe her parents met in high school actually in their English class (I learn so much about people during newborn sessions – one of the perks of my job!).

Scout’s newborn session is just bluntly – adorable!! Her mom told me they would like a vintage style with browns, creams, and pinks – perfect combo! Enter in the most adorable little vintage bonnet I have found coupled with an awesome vintage wrap (the first two pictures below)!

The last image is one of my favorites – her mom wore that same outfit as a newborn – talk about great job to grandma for keeping the outfit! Family heirloom shots are one of my favorites to capture!
