Mr. Albert – you just have to be a little more formal with that name! I photographed him around Christmas time and his mom requested grays, whites, creams – and gosh, do I love that combo for boys! I love how crisp and natural those color combinations look together. The focus is completely on the most important part of the image – sweet Albert!

Albert was a little alert during his newborn session so we got some adorable awake shots out of it – he probably wants to see what’s going on with his big brother and sister. I don’t think he ever cried during his session – if he opened his eyes he just looked around with curiosity and continued to be a very chill baby!

I was so happy Albert’s mom asked me to photograph him. Our kids are all about the same age and Katie was one of the first mom’s I met shortly after I had my first son – our oldest sons are about a month apart. It’s so crucial as a new mom to find others with similar-aged kids to go through the crazy kid seasons together. We may have long stretches without seeing each other, but you’d never know that with the level of comfort that we are able to talk and share crazy stories about our lives once we reunite!
