Getting to know families during my newborn sessions is one of the perks of my job! Beckham’s mom is a teacher and I am a former teacher so it was fun for me to chat about education with her. We also learned that we know some mutual people which is always nice to find out!

I really enjoyed photographing Beckham using sage, navy, and gray. Sage is one of my favorite colors, but that color is not chosen by families too often so when it happens I get really excited. I love how Beckham pops in that gorgeous sage color! Beckham’s mom also requested ‘sleepy hats’ which I also love to put on boys vs using bonnets so this session was so much fun to photograph for me! Beckham was a sweet little guy to photograph and is so loved by his parents – seeing new parents with their sweet baby is also a perk of my job!!
