Arya’s newborn session was so much fun to put together! Her session included lots of floral, a mini newborn-sized couch, a hanging floral composite (I do not do a lot of composites just yet…so it was fun to try something different), and a very loving brother. Arya was such a good baby throughout her session and we were so pleased that we captured everything that we had hoped to shoot that day.

I enjoy customizing each newborn session – and I start with asking for my client’s input beforehand. I will ask things like what colors they’d like me to incorporate (pinks, blues, purples, neutrals, etc), any poses they would really like me to try put their baby in (granted some poses babies do not like and I do not force them to do anything), prop requests that they have seen me use in the past, and any other special requests. Asking parents a few questions goes a long way to make sure their newborn session is extra special for their family.
