I had so much fun photographing Ashley and Robbie’s maternity session!  They were laid back throughout the whole session and I could tell right away after meeting them both in person what awesome parents they were going to be to their little guy, Holden.

Their maternity session was shot at Erwin Park in McKinney back in September and it worked out beautifully – there are so many great options at that park and the lighting was awesome that day. I photographed their session when Ashley was in her early weeks of her third trimester.  Their “little” guy was expected to be a big baby (and he sure was!) so I shot this session before she really got uncomfortable (haha – ya right – being comfortable in your third trimester is unlikely for most).

They brought along baby boy brown loafers, a sonogram picture, and scrabble letters spelling out his name to incorporate within their session.  I really enjoy the extra items that families bring to maternity sessions because it just adds that much more sweet memories for them.  Even their fur baby, Lexie, got in a few pictures and did great – I love how she added just a little bit more sense of family in the pictures she appeared in.
