This was one of my most favorite outdoor family photo sessions last fall! This session was shot in downtown Plano and it was my first time to shoot there – love the outcome!! I had heard that shooting in downtown Plano was great, but just hadn’t had the chance until then. It also didn’t hurt that the Frank family knew how to work the camera!

I had actually worked with Amy and Matt back when we were all in our 20’s and waiting tables – a lot has changed since then!! It was so special that Amy had asked me to photograph her family – I hadn’t seen them in person since their oldest was maybe a year or two? I still remember going to Ava’s baby shower and including a few books with her gift and Amy saying something like, “Of course the teacher would include books” (I’m a former elementary teacher).
